Hello everyone!

As we approach Lent season (whether you follow this tradition or not), I stop to think on the importance on keeping our culture alive especially if we don’t live in our home country, its crucial for me to show my kids our roots, and where we came from. Being a Latina its awesome, full of flair and flavor. You know we love family and friends gathering with delicious snacks, drinks and incredible meals. Let’s be honest, there is nothing we like more than having a good time eating good food and listening to cool music on our weekends, that’s just who we are! So that is why I am showing you my very special recipe with Clamato® Tomato Cocktail for the perfect family/friend gathering this Lent season. This meal will be the center of attention at any occasion.

THE PARTY MICHELADA

First of all, you have not started a party without the perfect Michelada, so go to your neighborhood Walmart and get your hands on this basic ingredient which is Clamato, along with all the ingredients we need to prepare this recipe.

Then turn on your music and start your party with this refreshing Michelada.

For this simple recipe you will need:

• Clamato® Tomato Cocktail

• Limes (2-3)

• Lots and lots of Lemon Pepper (this is actually the secret, you need a large quantity of this)

• Soy Sauce

• Worcestershire Sauce

• A pinch of Salt

• Hot Sauce

Now with your drink on hand, you are ready to start preparing this simple meal that everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients:

• Fresh Fish (I used Cod), calculate 1 filet per person.

• Raw Shrimp (I used already peeled, just because it’s easier than peeling them)

• Clamato® Tomato Cocktail 64oz.

• 10 limes

• 1 cucumber diced

• 3 Large tomatoes diced

• 1/2 finely chopped red onion

• 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro leaves

• 4 serrano peppers seeded and finely chopped

• 1 Avocado, sliced for decoration

• Salt, Pepper, Worcestershire and Soy Sauce (to taste)

1.Cut your fish and shrimp into squares, put them in a large bowl.

2. Add the lime and Clamato, cover.

3. Let the fish and shrimp marinate for about 2 hours on the fridge (You will see a change in the color of your fish)

4. Incorporate the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, serrano peppers and cucumber to the bowl. Mix everything.

5. Season it with salt, pepper, Worcestershire and Soy Sauce. Mix everything.

6. Add the slices of avocado on top to decorate.

7. Enjoy your meal with tostadas or chips.

You can add some salsa or peppers to your tostada if you like things more spicy, feel free to add or reduce the quantity of any ingredient depending on what you like.

Enjoy this season with your friends and family!

XOXO

ANA
