Awesome Party Themes Your Kids Will Love

When your child’s birthday rolls around, I’m sure that they will ask you for a big party to celebrate. It’s a great chance for them to gather all their friends together and enjoy party games and tasty treats. But rather than just decorating your home with a few balloons, why not try something different next time you need to organize a party and set a theme for it? This will help you with the party decorations, as you can buy some cool ones that fit in with the theme, and it also gives the kids a chance to dress up.

Now you just need to think about the perfect party theme for your child. Here are some of my favorite.

Wild West

Lots of kids love playing cowboys and Indians, so why not think about throwing your child a Wild West themed party? Fancy dress for this theme couldn’t be any easier as you just need to get some kids straw cowboy hats and a few native Indian style smocks. You can also theme the food around the Wild West – think about making a large chilli con carne with side portions of refried beans!

Princes And Princesses

Girls might not be all that convinced by a Wild West party, so you might have to go with something slightly different. How about a prince and princess theme? All of the boys can dress up as cute princes while the girls will love putting on a gorgeous dress and pretending to be a princess for the day. When it comes to the decorations, make sure that they sparkle!

Under The Sea

Another really cool party theme is under the sea. You just need to decorate your home so that it looks like the party is underwater. You could Stick cut-out fish and other sea creatures to your walls and use a lot of blue bunting and paper plates. It’s also easy to theme some fishy food for the party too – you could bake your own cookies shaped like fish and use blue food coloring in icing on cakes and cupcakes.

Disney

If your child is really into Disney movies, then you could always arrange a Disney party. All the kids can come dressed as their favorite character from all the movies. If you want, you could even turn this into a bit of a home-cinema party and play some of the kids’ favorite films from the Disney catalog! This should be a really easy party to decorate for as well, as you should be able to find plenty of Disney paraphernalia in shops and stores.

Cops And Robbers

Another classic kids’ theme has to be cops and robbers. The kids can come dressed as either a cop or a bad guy. This is also a great game to play during the party – the robbers need to hide and the cops have to all go out to try and find them!

If you choose one of these awesome themes then a lot of fun will certainly be had by all!

Good Luck planning that amazing party! Until Next time…
