Hello everyone!  Welcome to my blog, I wanted to start with “all about me” as my first post, so here we go.

My name is Ana Najera and I am from Monterrey but currently live in San Antonio, Texas, where I am raising my 4 little boys with my husband Armando. My boys are Emiliano (10), Cristobal (7), Benjamin (5) and Lorenzo (2), and yes I do have a crazy, busy life but it’s also fun and full of energy, there is no dull moment at my house.

MY STORY

Got married 13 years ago in Monterrey and immediately moved to San Antonio where my husband opened a sushi place. We stayed here for almost 4 years (during this time Emiliano was born). Then decided to move back to Mexico, to be close to family. We lived in Monterrey for about 4 years (Cristobal was born there) and finally about 5 years ago one thing led to another and we decided to move back to San Antonio. I came here while I was 8 months pregnant with Benjamin and here we are.

MY PROFESSION

Studied graphic design as my mayor. Also I have studied photography for a little bit and also I used to paint, (stopped after having kids). I also worked as an art director in several companies. After having Emiliano I decided to become a “stay at home mom”, which is not entirely true as I am always working on something.

5 years ago I opened an online business RENTACASITA where we rent properties  over the Riviera Maya, which I still own and love.

Now a little about my favorite things:

PINK is my favorite color and I am a girly girl kind of girl, ironically that I have only boys, right?

My favorite drink is iced coffee and I am a  wine drinker, preferably Malbec, but I will have any type of wine.

Dark chocolate and any type of chocolate dessert.

Some of my favorite foods are sushi, burgers with onion rings and hot wings, ceviches.

Eating out is something I enjoy.  I prefer doing it without kids because they definitely don’t stay still at restaurants. But again I rather to go out with them than nothing at all.

MOVIES: My favorite type of movie is a romantic comedy (chick flicks).

And I love, love, love going out with friends. (laughter is the best therapy).

I love spending time with the boys but they do drive me crazy so I am constantly workig my patience.

Love traveling with the whole gang because if I leave them I worry too much. But at least once a year we go to a weekend getaway without the kids.
