Your family home, a haven. A place where memories are made…and also, sometimes, chaos! It’s time to get things in order, fix things on the blink, make things accessible and create a better routine for everyone. Let’s get started.
Everything should have a place
It is important to make sure that everything in the house has its place. There is where to put paperwork, where to hang bags and coats, where to put shoes, where is the place of every children’s toy (even if it’s in a big box in the living room – it’s still a place). Check what is in the most messy corner of your home. Where do you put the children’s creations from school? What is the place of items waiting for you to take them to someone else? (I have a basket under the console just for that). Where are the keys located? What about the vacuum cleaner, the kids’ toys, hair brushes, sunglasses, drinking bottles, toilet paper…? All of these things go around between your legs because they have no designated place in the house. Take the time to find them a place, otherwise the problem will just not be solved and they will just move from place to place to infinity. I am sure the coffee machine has its own place in the kitchen after all?
Projects and lists
Once in a while, take on a home arrangement and / or cleaning project. Free up a few free hours one day and tidy up the closets in the restrooms at home. A week after that, get dressed in the nursery. After that you will find time to arrange some drawers in the kitchen. And so on. The fewer unnecessary items you have in the house, and the more carefully things are arranged, the easier it will be for you to maintain order and cleanliness. Has your AC been on the blink? If so, time to sort it and call a 24 Hour AC Repair.
In short, it is also very important to occasionally go into the depths of things and not just tidy up the surface. The real rush begins in the depths of your drawers, or rather in the excessive amount of belongings you have in the house. We all have too many things, and we should gradually sort and get rid of them.
Regular order and cleaning routine
Habits and routine are critical in many areas of life, including order and cleanliness. You will find that things run for longer when they are well kept and save you money in maintenance costs. For example cleaning filters stop them clogging up. If you wash your shower heads, it will stop limescale and other problems arising.
Your routine should include:
- Things that are done every day, such as washing dishes, arranging lightly, checking the laundry and more.
- Chores that are done every week like pumping, rinsing, various cleanliness.
- Items that are done every month like cleaning the fridge, windows and so on.
Until next time
