DIY VELVET PUMPKINS

Hey girls, you know how much I love my DIY’s and in this occasion I made the cutest super easy and simple Velvet Pumpkins. I know you will love and literally made about 20 in just half afternoon.

YOU WILL NEED

1 YARD OF VELVET (ANY COLOR YOU WANT) I DID 2 COLORS SO 1 YARD EACH.

THREAD OF SIMILAR COLOR AND NEEDLE

HOT GLUE GUN

POLYESTER STUFFING (NORMALLY YOU WILL FIND IT BY THE BAG)

PIECES OF ANY TREE BRANCH( FOR THE STEM)

LETS START

You will need to cut your velvet in a circle more or less of the size you want your pumpkins.

After you have you circle start sewing (it does not need to be perfect. once you are done with the thread the whole circle. Add the stuffing and close it as much as you can pulling the thread with the needle.

after you have done that you need to pull the needle to the very buttom of the pumpkin and try to pass it through the very center just once and then come up.

With your hot glue gun apply it on your tree branch (stem) and insert it through the opening of the pumpkin. once the stem is in there you can continue closing all gaps zig zaging from side to side with the needle.

THAT’S IS IT!

you can do smaller pumpkins with the remaining of the velvet fabric.

Good Luck and happy DIY!
