Thank you Klutz, a division of Scholastic for sponsoring this post. Hands on learning and a healthy-dose of fun!
Being home more than ever is affecting everyone and we tend to spend more time playing video games, watching tv or on any electronic device. We as parents need to encourage our kids to stay active not only physically but also mentally and creatively.
This month (March) is Craft Month and I was thrilled to partner with Scholastic and Klutz! Scholastic and Klutz kits are not only fun but also educational crafts for kids at any age. So immediately we got ourselves the MAKE YOUR OWN TINY CAMPER set and we made a day out of it.
We had so much fun building together as a family. The boys practiced their patience, taking turns and challenged their own imagination creating something unique.
Mom approved
As a mom, I used this quality time for making sure each and every one of them ignite their creative side and challenged them to “think outside the box.”
The kit contains everything you need to build this fun craft but you can make it special by adding any element, detail or personalization to make it unique and truly yours.

It also includes very detailed step-by-step instructions with illustrations. It shows how to do everything so easily that a 4-year-old can follow. Lorenzo did amazing with the help of the older brothers.
FUN FUN DAY
A fun day where the kids didn’t even ask for their iPads/tv or anything like it. Time passed by and we were all so engaged doing this cute little project.
I encourage you to take snack breaks that way they can come back refreshed and ready to tackle.
Klutz have several kits like this one and you can find them on their website and on Amazon. Each kit costs around $17-20 which is a very reasonable price for what you are getting.
Overall, I do recommend these kits as they are fun, educational, challenging, creative and encouraging to work as a team. Most importantly, the kids approved!
Until Next time
xoxo
