5 Cheese Ziti Al Forno Pasta Recipe

This has to be my kids absolutely favorite pasta recipe of all times. Every time we visit Olive Garden they order this pasta without fail and honestly my version is way better.

It’s also perfect for when hosting or whenever you want to pre-make your lunch or dinner and just heat it up before serving as you can easily make this and just finish it up in the oven 30 minutes before serving.

The key here is the cheeses if you do not find the ones I requested you can sub for any cheese preferably Italian or do a blend of cheeses.

This pasta recipe is cheesy, hearty full of flavor and the crunch of the panko makes it so delicious. Remember to not cook your pasta thoroughly because it will continue to cook on the oven.

Here is what you will need:

Ingredients

1 bag ziti pasta

4 cups marinara sauce

2 cups alfredo sauce

1/2 cup ricotta cheese
2 cloves garlic minced

For the Topping:

2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/ cup romano cheese grated

1 cup parmesan cheese grated

1 cup Fontina cheese shredded

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cook the pasta one minute shy of the directions on the box and drain.
In a large oven safe dish add the pasta, marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, ricotta cheese and garlic and mix well.
In another bowl Mix the mozzarella, panko, romano, parmesan and fontina together and mix 1/2 the cheeses into the pasta and add the rest over the pasta.
* Bake for 30-35 minutes uncovered
